The British movie Sorry we missed you, was shown on October 17, 2019 at Filmhuis Den Haag. The movie explores the current economic phenomenon of zero-hour contracts. The story centers on the Turner family, that has been struggling financially since the economic crisis. Father Ricky decides to invest in a van, so he can earn money as a delivery driver. Nevertheless, the family remains under constant pressure.
After the screening of the film, a debate took place with Jasper van Dijk (SP) and Helena Kosec (Fairwork foundation) about modern labor exploitation.
