On Tuesday the 19th of December 2019, the Dutch documentary Wei was screened at Film & Debate.
The documentary tells the story of the father of director Ruud Lennssen when he is diagnosed with demantia. While father Jac holds on to his idyllic meadow ("wei" in Dutch), mother Ria struggles with her role as informal caregiver. A film about dementia, informal care, love and saying goodbye. The director joined the debate that took place afterwards.
