Montesquieu Institute: from science to society

Film & Debate: De Missie

De Missie

The Montesquieu Institute and Filmhuis Den Haag are running the Dutch documentary 'De Missie' (The Mission'). This film is about the Dutch contribution to the UN mission in Mali (MINUSMA). For the first time in UN history this mission is relying on its own intelligence. With unrestricted access filmmaker Robert Oey spoke to the key players of the peacekeeping force.

How effective are the UN peacekeeping missions? How is life on a military base? What mandate is needed for UN peacekeeping missions? After the screening a public debate, in cooperation with Ciné-ONU, will be held on the topic related to the film.

Please note that this event will be held in Dutch.
