Montesquieu Institute: from science to society

Haagsch College: Does Europe still belong to us?

Esther de Lange en Ivo Belet zitten op een bankje

The European Union is instable. The migrant crisis, the instable euro, and the fear of globalisation endanger the European project. In their new book 'The Gap' MEPs Esther de Lange and Ivo Belet analyse the challenges of the European cooperation.

During this booklaunch on March 21, 2017 Arend Jan Boekestijn was the first to respond to Esther de Lange's vision on how to close the gap between the EU and her citizens. First Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans has shortly given his view on the theme of the book.
