Through the network of The Hague European Network (THEN), interested civilians and professionals can be informed about:

-new developments in European policy areas of interest

-the agenda of conferences, courses, debates, events and lectures in European policy areas of interest

-the moments that the European concours are published
Register for the newsletter of THEN (this will soon be possible)
Starting in 2010 The Hague European Network (THEN) will disseminate proactive and tailor-made information about Europe-oriented activities and developments in the Netherlands. Interested civilians and professionals can register for information on their policy area of interest. Every two months THEN will send a newsletter in Dutch and four times a year an international (English) version will be send.
THEN, an initiative by the city of The Hague and the Montesquieu Institute, has developed from the experience that it is increasingly difficult to identify and reach the specific target group for the many Europe-oriented activities that are organised yearly in The Hague and the Netherlands.
Too often only a part of the interested audience is reached and regularly events are organised at the same time, and so overlapping in trying to reach the same target group. By informing each other of upcoming events at an early stage this may be prevented.
Furthermore, by letting people register for their own areas of interest, we can ensure that people only receive relevant information.
The Hague European Network (THEN) is an initiative of the city of The Hague as the international city of Justice and Peace and the Montesquieu Institute.
